Disabled Accommodation

Meadowcroft offers the disabled visitor a warm welcome. Our guests will have a large identified parking space at entrance to property and ramped entrance door.

We have one ground floor double room with wet room. 

One ground twin room has an en suite with a large step in shower and grab rail.

The double room has extra wide doorways into the bedroom and bathroom to enable wheelchair access. The ensuite consists of a level access shower, disabled toilet with support rails, lever taps and if needed shower chair and toilet seat height adaptations.

The bedroom is large with space to manoeuvre a wheelchair. We can also provide if needed a support pole for over the bed. An intercom system is available for guests travelling with carers.

Enjoy a full English breakfast in our spacious dining room. The large double doors provide easy entry for wheelchair users.

The Watermill Inn our local award winning hostelry has ramped access for you to enjoy local ales and good food.

The gated road offers the wheelchair user the chance to travel up into the hills on a hard surface and enjoy spectacular views of Ings Village and the surrounding Lakeland areas.
